MORALS AND SELF CONTROL SUPERSEDES AN ERECTION

I have been busy and its now that am catching up with world news; some devastating, others good and encouraging.

This one is devastating. I have constantly reminded you that an erection knows no Priest, Pastor, Imam or civil servant. However, my believe is that morals and self control supersedes an erection.

A 77 year old cardinal, Cardinal George Pell, the former Vatican treasurer and the most senior Catholic figure ever to be found guilty of sexual offences against children has been jailed for 6 years in Australia for sexually abusing 13-year-old choir boys in a Melbourne cathedral in 1996.

I assume when Njoki Chege recently spoke about the Kinoo and Roysambu men did so without well researched facts. I think too unlike me, she is not widely travelled both locally and internationally. Over the years, in line of duty, I have travelled to almost every Sub-County in Kitui County, both before the promulgation of the 2010 Constitution when Kitui County was Kitui District and now as Kitui County, years later after the promulgation of the new Constitution. During these different times, I had a chance to observe, experience and feel the depth of the socio-economic development when Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka was the highly regarded Ukambani defunct political leader and make comparisons with Hon. Charity Kaluki Ngilu's regime. Honestly, but sadly, I did not and I have not observed or experienced anything worth noting during Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka's reign.
